Our Learning

Hi, my name is Sarah Holyoak and I have the privilege of teaching the wonderful children in Poppy class.
I am passionate about giving children the opportunity to explore, investigate and discover through play as this is a key part of their learning. Children learn best when they are happy, and I believe they are the happiest when they are playing! I am looking forward to getting to know all the families and children in Poppy class, and I am excited to embark on this school journey alongside you all!

Hello, my name is Megan Turner.
I’m really looking forward to teaching in Poppy class this year and joining the children on their exciting adventure into school life. I have taught Year 2 and 3 at St Werburgh’s for a number of years and I am returning after having my little girl. I love to read and share stories with children, especially funny ones. Outside of school I enjoy swimming and being around horses.
