Our Learning
At St Werburgh's Primary School we offer each child starting in our school a 'passport'. Our enrichment passport lists 20 things each year that a child in a specific year could achieve. Most of these experiences are undertaken in school either as part of the class learning on a topic, or as an educational visit.
The new DfE Enrichment benchmarking groups our enrichment activities into five categories.
Every pupil and student has access to a range of activities including at a minimum the following 5 categories:
At St Werburgh's we offer opportunities in all of these areas.
For further information of the enrichment opportunities available by class please read the class pages.
Examples of Whole School Enrichment opportunities for 2026-27 include:
- a Christmas performance in school for all children
- Sports Days
- all year groups will have a Forest School day, except for Year 6 who have a residential Camp booked which includes Forest School sessions and camping.
The full document can be found here. If you think that your child does not have a passport then please ask.
