Determination of Admission Arrangements 2027/28

In line with the School Admissions Code, Amplify Education (formerly Cathedral Schools Trust) has determined (agreed) the admission arrangements for the academic year 2027/28. These arrangements are for children who will be admitted to the school at the normal point of entry for September 2027.

Applying for a school place

Reception admissions 2027

If your child was born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023, you must apply for a new reception school place.

All applications for St Werburgh’s Primary School are made on the common application form (CAF) via your home local authority (this is where you pay your council tax).

The CAF will be available from mid September and will close by midnight on January 15th 2027. All applications are considered in line with the admission arrangements 2027/28.

School Tours

Our School Open Sessions are a great opportunity for you to come and see what St Werburgh's Primary School is all about. You will have the opportunity to visit our classrooms, see our Silver Birch (YR to Y2) and Willow (Y3 to Y6) sites, and ask any questions you have.

Dates for Open Evening

Wednesday 11th November at 6pm. 

Places on each tour are limited so that we can keep visits friendly and personal, with plenty of time to look around and ask questions so we ask families to book a place in advance.  You can book a visit by completing this Google Form, by calling our office on 0117 903 1466 or by emailing school@stwerburghsprimary.com.

If these dates are unsuitable then please contact the school office so we can arrange a school visit outside of these dates on request.
